Gaining Momentum...

aI promise I won't make a big deal about EVERY comment I get, but right now I'm very pleased! I'd also like to offer a big round of applause to David for also leaving his mark and showing me that there are indeed people who read this!! I think that means my count has increased from 2 readers to 4 - that's a 100% increase since I started updating two weeks ago. That made me want to draw out a couple graphs to demonstrate my blog popularity over the course of the next year.

So this first one shows how trends will continue between now and 14 weeks from now. As you can see, between now and April, there will be 128 people faithfully following my various antics and rabblerousings as I post online.

There will be an exponential increase, and by the time I leave for North Africa, over 100 people will be anxiously awaiting my first words back.

This next one illustrates what'll happen by next Christmas:

As you can see, somewhere between week 49 and week 50, the number of people reading my blog will have increased to an amount larger than the population of Canada (if population growth rate is still 1.003 - Thankyou, Statscan). Isn't that great?!?! I'll be more popular than the Prime Minister!

I am very excited and optimistic about the future popularity of my blog. This year sure promises to be one filled with new friends, lots and lots of comments, and who knows, maybe even an Order Of Canada?...

hahaha
